It was my husband's birthday and we decided to have some dinner using the Entertainer Qatar App. Villagio has always been a famous choice for us because we can stroll and have movies after dinner. Unfortunately, there was nothing good in the cinemas last night except for Taken 3 which we have already seen last Saturday. So we just had some dinner and window-shopped.

We had dinner at the Butcher Shop & Grill, located at the perimeter of the skating rink. As their name would suggest, they serve some great steak. And because it's the husband's birthday (he loves steak, by the way), this was an obvious choice.

Of course, I had to get myself some Mint Lemonade, but this time around it was not just me. The birthday boy also wanted to try it, he says he got curious because I always have it.

Scottish Salmon served with Baked Potato QR95

This, by far, is the best salmon I've ever had in all of Doha. I don't know if it's the sauce or just the salmon itself but its definitely on the top of my list. It is served with fresh arugula leaves, cherry tomatoes and potatoes. They will also ask you to choose from a variety of sides, I chose a baked potato (blurred at the background).

Espetada served with Sweet Potatoes & Caleslaw QR99

The birthday boy had some Beef Espetada, well-done of course. While eating, Raymond was ranting endlessly about this dish, so I tried it. It was surprisingly tender and very juicy. I'm not much of a steak/barbecue fan but this dish is making me reconsider. It is served with a plate of fried sweet potatoes that are very crisp and you also get to choose another side, Raymond chose some coleslaw.

Now as I've said, we used the Entertainer Qatar App for this particular meal and it's our first time to use it for 2015. Our whole meal was supposed to sum up to QR238 but we paid only QR143. More about the App on another post.

Looks really delicious even though I'm a "rare" girl. Sometimes I fear that I'll just go and take a bite of a live cow one day:)
