Yacht Cruise with Ronautica Middle East
Thursday, December 18, 2014For this year's Qatar National Day, we decided to celebrate away from all the commotion along Corniche area and rented a yacht for a little cruise on the waters around Doha.
The cruise started off at 10:00 and ended at 12:00, exactly 2 hours. We first headed to the Ronautica Middle East office at Parcel One of Porto Arabia in The Pearl to validate our schedule a little before 10:00 am.

After that, we were told to meet the captain of the yacht at Marina Gate 2.
He gathered us at the living area of the yacht for a little briefing and we started on our way.
The 2-hour cruise costs QR2,500 but we got this trip at a 50% discount from Qgrabs. It was a pretty great deal considering there 8 of us to split the bill, we paid QR156 per person. There were also some complimentary drinks during the cruise.
We had the captain and one crew member with us during the cruise.
It was fun for all us especially since it was everyone's first time. We are truly blessed to have had this opportunity and would do it again if given the chance. Here are some of my favorite photos from the cruise:

Our captain was very friendly and very accommodating. He even let us take pictures navigating the boat. He was very keen on explaining safety precautions and others things we could and could not do during the cruise.
The cruise ran from the Pearl thru the Corniche and to the port. At that point, we had to turn back around and return to the Pearl docks.
Now, like every great trip, this too had to end. We all enjoyed, nonetheless.
